Allen Putman custom scales

I received my first set of Allen Putman custom scales yesterday & very impressed. I got orange G10 w/ anso pattern for a Spyderco Paramilitary 2.

Para2 was a bit of pain to disassemble but new scales are A+ quality/fit/finish. I really like the anso pattern. Centering still perfect on my knife after reassembly.

He does great work and always got back to my emails very quickly. He did the scales for my large Ritter Grip and the fit and finish is awesome. Currently waiting to see if he's going to do another run for the Para2 in aluminum. Just a cool dude that does some quality work.


 
Those look awesome! I just picked up a Manix 2 CTS-XHP in a trade and I have already been eyeballing the orange honeycomb scales. This thread probably put me over the edge.
 
You can't do any better for the money you will spend with Allen. I was more than pleased that $75 shipped got me the scales and backspacer with that kind of f&f. You will not be disappointed. If they don't have what you need in stock he can put you on the list.
 
I'm gonna have to email him and see if he's planning a run for the aluminum snake skin pattern for the para 2.
 
check out his website. there are limited models but they are popular models PM2, Manix, Griptilian, Mini Grip...
 
How did you separate the old scales from the lanyard hole? Thanks for the help.

Wow, I'm not really a safety orange kind of guy, but those scales go really nice with the blade. Had a pair myself a while ago; superb fit:
