I have the Ka'anapali model with the titanium (thin, wire) frames. When I wore sunglasses with thicker frames I used croakies, but they are too large anddon't even work for the Maui Jims I have. What is the alternative? Price is little object as I lost a pair in Cancun last week due to not having any retention... :(

I've tried several things on my thin wire titanium glasses, best was either:

1.- Wrapping a section of the earpieces with yarn as when tying a nail knot, which when done right doesn't look so bad and will provide a thick area for the rubber tube in the croakies to hold.

2.- Making a holder with nylon string tied with a midshipman's knot placed on the wire above the thin plastic tube that goes around the earpiece. If the knot is made right I can adjust it for size, pull it tight and it will stay, grabbing the knot and pulling it out carefully will loosen it to take the thing off.

I'll see if I can find links for the nail and the midshipman's knots and come back and edit to put them here.

OK, I am a Scoutmaster so I don't need the links. Thanks for the ideas. The nail knot is required for the "fly fishing" merit badge and I forgot when and where I had to teach the midshipman's knot but I did. Thanks for the suggestion. I was actually hoping for a competitive product to croakies that attached to such glasses....
