Am I the only one that likes the Buck 112/110 slim select? This knife does not seem the get much love, but I really like it. I have about 5 and each one has been razor sharp out of the box, the grip is comfortable, slim profile, bucks 420hc has good performance, USA made, comes in several colors and its only $25-$30 bucks on average. Heck I have even grown to like the ugly tape measure style clip as it does work well and snags on stuff way less often.

Sure, the QC not perfect but I have gotten worse from big name brands that go for 3-5x the price. It's far from perfect but I'm a fan and like having a USA made option under $30 bucks that is easily available. Anyone else like it?

I think they are a good value, but I prefer the blade shapes on the original 110/112. I had a 112 Slim Select for a while, but after using it I decided I liked using the 112 and 112 LT better.

I have a Buck 110 slim select that I bought about 3 years ago. It was on sale through the Buck website. I have carried it frequently since I bought it. It's one of my favorite knives for EDC. The fit and finish are very good. It was shaving sharp when the USPS delivered it to my house.

I like them just fine. I love the look and heft of the 110, though. I have not even carried it enough to familiarize myself with it, so I just have preliminary opinions of the knife, but it's a Bos 420HC clip point pocket knife, what is not to like?

I haven't got a Slim Select though (I assume that knife is for when you fall in love with the 110 and want a lighter pocket-clippable version, too). I would like it even better with that Bos heat treated S45VN, though, I really would like to try that, heard it is spectacular. As afishhunter shows above, I would also immediately snatch one up in CPM-154

I wouldn't turn my nose up at a 110 Slim though.

No sir, you aren’t the only one. I used to carry my 112 all of the time but just recently relegated it, a Buck 140, and a Buck 684 (both of which are underrated imo) to the backpack I keep in my truck. I’m planning to pick up a 110 slim select soon as well because I like the 112 so much.

Let's see them.

I have a 112 Slim Select in micarta and S30V. The knife is outstanding. The pocket clip leaves a bit to be desired. I have snapped three of them. I think they are a bit too hard, and could be softened up a bit.

I had a 110 slim pro that I liked but for heavy cutting or extended time use it was to slim for me. So I gave it to my son. Not that it couldn’t take heavy use but my old arthritis hands can’t. I prefer a thicker more robust handle for heavy use. For edc they’re good. I got 112 slim selects for my grandkids and they love them.

I bought the 110 select when they first came out, and it was a dud…swore them off. But THEN my oldest daughter bought me a 112 select last Christmas and I thought “ok, maybe they got the bugs worked out”, so I took a chance and bought the 112 pro. I like it very much and despite buying several knives since the 112, it spends A LOT of time in my front pocket. Yes it’s awfully slim if you’re shopping for a work knife, but that’s why I keep fixed blades handy.
In fact I don’t even post in the “what are you carrying today” thread very often because it becomes a bit repetitive. lol

Same two as yesterday, today, and they’ll more than likely be in my pocket tomorrow as well.

I like the 112 slim select a lot! They seem fairly underappreciated or maybe just ignored? The 110 proportions seem off to me though. I'd love to see a slim pro in brown micarta with 5160 steel!

Sorry, disregard. For some reason my pics of my 112 keep getting deleted.

They get a lotta love over in the Buck sub-foum.😊
I don't care for clips, so stick with the LT's.
SK Blades did a couple 110LT SFO's: The Smoke Jumper with a red handle and clip point CPM154 blade, and a "Thin Blue Line"(?) with blue handle and a drop point CPM154 blade.
I managed to get the Smoke Jumper.

The blue handle one is called The Shield and what a great knife. Probably my most carried Buck! Wish I would've grabbed a Smoke Jumper when I had the chance. Too bad Buck won't do any more limited editions with SKBlades

I knew it had something to do with law enforcement.
Agree that it is bad that Buck won't do SFO's for SK Blades, putting SK Blades out of business.
