The knife you pick when you can't decide between an axe and a blade. 7" of 0.200" 1084, hickory axe haft handle, micarta bolster. Belt finished. It's working title was "American Leuku":

Thanks for looking.

Beautiful work daizee.

Daizee, without any doubt this is easily the most beautiful knife in my opinion you have ever made. Congratulations on such a gorgeous achievement.

Thats gotta be the easiest to make sheath I have ever seen. Probably common, but I never thought of that (I do a lot of thermoforming). Simply heat the plastic and form the foldover to contour exactly to any shape. Sweet blade too.

Thanks, fellas, glad you like it. A beast I wanted, and a beast I got.
The next one will probably have a more traditional handle. Probably.

JB, Re: sheath
There's any other way? :p

The large handle is a big improvement from a normal leuku. I can't understand how anyone can chop with them because of the small handle

what wood did yo

what wood did u use for the guard? great looking knife

Thanks, Delta. The bolster/guard is natural canvas micarta.

Man, looks like you could use this one to salvage cars. Beast is right, it would chop through anything.

Just bolted a Sagewood taco sheath adapater and belt dangler to this bad boy, and it's perfect:
