What really impresses me is the fine details on the blade that are not usually found in cold steel knives. Reminds me of Italian stiletto knives. Of course, the choice of materials is also very interesting.Cold steel generally does not use micarta and titanium.Interesting. I recall a similar locking mechanism on a small CS folder I had, quite close in concept to Spyderco's Compression Lock. Looks like you have a one-of-a-kind.
Thanks for information. Absolutely great workmanship. I would definitely like to learn and see more. Cold steel should continue to produce such knives. This is old school Cold Steel...... They made a half dozen or so impeccable folders in the late 80's thru the 90's.
Chip has a few...ill tag him and hopefully he'll post em here
WValtakis ... Pretty please show and tell. Thanx in advance for any consideration you give my request!!!

If I remember correctly these were like $375.oo way back when they were first out....This isn't too bad of a deal.....If I was flush I'd grab jt....Unfortunately I'm not able and really can't justify it....
Maybe you can... Have a look it definitely one of my favorites.... The black sable is the other one I really wanted.. That's what Chip has on the way I believe...... Have a look

He's done a great job. I think we shouldn't be afraid to change knives like this. I am also an amateur knife maker. I never thought of doing something like this. This inspired me. Special thanks to you for sharing this.Well the seller is a talented knife maker who's well known.... I'd imagine he did the file work......Still waiting on Chip to do some engraving on some of his original Cold customs......He did a nice job refinishing his Talwar custom....
....

Regardless of how well the work may be done, it should be mentioned in the sales adHe's done a great job. I think we shouldn't be afraid to change knives like this. I am also an amateur knife maker. You are absolutely right. I am not defending the seller in this matter. What he did was quite wrong.Regardless of how well the work may be done, it should be mentioned in the sales ad![]()
They all look beautiful. The most beautiful cold steel collection I've ever seen
Some of the finest folders Cold Steel ever had made, I've been after this set for a long time...really revolutionary stuff for the time. They all look beautiful. The most beautiful cold steel collection I've ever seen
You are absolutely right. The new cold steel models are looking worse and worse for some reason. Knives like Mayhem don't make me feel like cold steel. Some of the finest folders Cold Steel ever had made, I've been after this set for a long time...really revolutionary stuff for the time.
