Good Morning gentlemen!

At the behest of our busy host I come before you to pose a rather convoluted question.

Here's the deal....Over the holidays I received a couple of cheap folders manufactured by Andujar in Spain. I wasn't expecting caviar at peanut butter prices. I got what I paid for, and am quite happy with them for what they are.

Now comes the tricky part. I would like to have the opportunity to purchase other (perhaps higher quality products) made by this company. Andujar is an old company. The corporate web site (http://www.andujar-sl.es/) boasts of over 600 models. If what I have is the "Chevette" model. Surely they must also manufacture a "Monte Carlo" or a "Corvette". How do I get access to the rest of the product line?

The stateside distributors I could find gave me the standard "just what you see" response. I emailed Andujar directly with no response. Would a phone call or a written letter carry more weight? Is there another distributor somewhere here or abroad? Surely someone must be selling the products somewhere?

Any insight you could provide into the dynamics of international marketing would be appreciated. Thanks.

I picked up an Andujar stag handle lockback at Smoky Mountain Knife Works in the fall of 98. It is a well made knife that takes a razor edge. It has about a three inch blade and cost about $19.00. Someone at SMKW might be able to put you on to some of the higher priced knives. You will probably have to call their store and talk to someone in purchasing for the store. Their store and mail order operate separately.

Good Luck! If you find a source for Andujar please post it, I would like to see some others too!
