Value is up to the buyer. It's an unusual and seldom seen Dealer Special (DS) variant, but not particularly attractive (to me), so I wouldn't offer a premium. An RMK collector that specialized in unusual, or DS variants might - but as a person that once collected RMK oddballs, selling them later often required finding a collector with similar tastes.

Hope that helps...

Thank you for your reply. I am interested in selling it. Just don't know what value to put on it - eBay or this forum.

It’s a tough one to figure out.

Closest thing on RMK is a standard model 8. $390. So in my mind that is the minimum value.

Then it is just a matter of how badly someone wants that specific variant. What premium they are willing to pay for not having to wait.

Somewhere between $400 and $600? Big range I know.

It’s a nice knife, I find it nice looking. Good luck with the sale. Ed

eBay is a wild place. Some sales seem to go crazy while others linger. I look forward to seeing were this one goes.

Again best of luck.

That seemed to go well for you. $680 final price. Congrats.
