For some reason I always think of Crocodile Dundee whenever I see these bowies.

Looks like Kumar did a nice job on this one. And Yangdu is pretty much giving it away too.
 
The 15" AKB is my quintessential knife. No other HI products speaks to me like it does. The micros are handier, but my 15" AKB goes wherever I go.

My wife has corralled me into taking a day off to go for a hike with her and my daughter. I have about 15 other knives that make more "sense" than my 15" AKB, but I can't help myself. The big ol' brute riding high and tight on my back right hip is comforting. Always there, always ready, always more capable than I am, the AKB is serious medicine and well worth (to me) the added weight on the move.

Kumar's work is masterful.
 
It certainly does have a wow! factor when you hold one. The feel of the handle, the weight, and all things contributing it's a wonderful feeling just to hold it.
Looks like you tried to post pictures. I'm sad that I can't see them.
 
Will: I dont have a full sized Cherokee Rose. Sad but true. I have a micro which is really cool! Get one if you get a chance. Im waiting on one with the full forward tilted guard like Tirtha used to make. I think Kumar may have made them too? Hari Kami made a mean one too but the guard was flat and squared to the handle. I kinda like the top of the guard a bit forward. Just a personal preference i suppose. Patience will get me one eventually just like that Farm knife I just got. Keep looking but nab it quick if you find one.

Yangdu just reposted that knife under the 7/10 dated post for $125! This is what she said:
