Knife friends,

After 45 years in industry (30 in the knife industry), I am retiring.
October 31, 2019 will be my last official day.
It has been my pleasure to have been a part in this wonderful industry. The reason I have stayed in the world of knives is not the money but because I have met so many great people.
I will still be involved with edged tools but now as an enthusiast.
I plan on continuing to attend shows and be on various forums.
I wish all of you well.

Best Regards,

Paul Tsujimoto

Good luck and congratulations on your next chapter and adventures.

Thanks for being a part of the knife community and all that you have done for us!

All the best, Toooj. Have a happy retirement!

naaaaw.. that can't be!!???
really????!
hey toooj ! thanks for trying to
shape up the industry.
so all the best and a happy retirement ;-)
but i figure your service to knifedom
will still be actively sought in ways
that only a tried and true old hand can :)
with your vast experience in the industry,
authoring a couple of knife related
books and articles is something
i would very honestly look forward to.
i guess now is the time as good as any
to exchange the mighty sword for the
might of the pen, if but for one to stay sharp.

Sir, thank you for all of your contributions in this industry. Please enjoy your retirement. All the best!

Good Luck on your run away from the rat race!

Your Edumacating us on processes and reasons and explaining various things in UNDERSTANDABLE TERMS really has been pleasure to read here. And your answering questions here has helped a lot of people and gave many of us very much good information as well!

Its Been Knife to know ya! (that was an attempt to be punny :D )

warning for trolling
Toooj didn’t do shit as far process or quality improvement for OKC (bad hire) I don’t know if it’s his failures as a VP of engineering, or OKC is just plain cheap.

Why did you have to be that guy, it is just plain disrespecful to make such a comment about Toooj.

Toooj is an icon in the industry, and I wish him well enjoying his retirement.
