Hay everyone.

I would like everyone's input on witch Knife they prefer?

I have been looking at the Custom Matrix for a while and now that the Starlord and Sigil just came out, I am note sure witch one I should am for?

I like the Design of the Matrix allot, but was wandering what advantages the the Starlord and Sigil have over it?
Better Detent, flipping action, blade steel? Or is it just aesthetics? Also witch one would gave the best resale value in the future?
Basically wanting t compare the mid range versions of the 3 knives that has CF scales, the 1000-1800 price range.

Thanks!

Gustav

Honestly all except teh matrix are really new. And I think you will be hard pressed to find anyone doing any real work with them. If you do plan on using it and carrying it I would go with the matrix. I just dont see the recurve of the starlord to be easily maintained and the clip on the sigil is neat in theory but it looks to be more of an exercise in possibility rather than logical function.

I can only speak of my experience with the Matrix . Great utility knife . Thin an light with a nice lock up . I agree with purple the recurves are a pain to maintain

Of those, the Matrix for sure.

But I would recommend the Socom Bravo over all three, if your intent is to get something by Marfione.

I see the Sigil is getting snagged up everywhere I go what is the driving force of that knife, is it because it's a Colab?

No. Its just the latest knife to be reviewed by jim skelton. And there is a small crowd that seems to buy whatever he makes a video of that week.

I see, I think I will stick to getting a Matrix, seams they have dropped a bet in price. :)

All three are great blades but I agree with all the posts above. Out of the three the Matrix is the best for use. If you like a smaller knife in size like the sigil you can also look into a mini Matrix.

They were getting snapped up pretty quickly before his video, too, the ones at Blade and at the previous show. Actual Munroe sigils cost $3500-5000 so to basically have a midtech Sigil for less than 1750 was appealing for a lot of people.

Although now that he has made the video expect the prices to become prohibitively high.

if you can get a sigil, do it. I doubt you will be able to find one for less than 2k though at this time. This is the perfect size knife for EDC and I really like the clip design. I carry it in my front coverall pocket at work and it holds perfectly. The matrix and starlord are sick knives and i would love to have one of each, but the Sigil is so good for edc it is my first choice over the others.

when I get the funds I might end up with a CF version.

Im sure they were being snatched up. I just notice that every time i like a knife ( not this case but its happened) if that guy reviews it i can kiss any opportunity i have to find one and at a decent price no less goodbye. Kinda glad he has moved on to higher end knives except for when he gets a freebie to plug.

I agree with you totally, ever knife He has reviewed is almost unobtainable, and if it is its 2x or 3x what he mentioned in his revews.

For example a ZT 777. He revews the one with Vanx 35/Damascus blade and can't find one for what He recommend($800) can't find one for under 1k.

I once had a Production made Mini Matrix, it was nice but decided to sell it along with my Combat Troodon, and Socom Delta. I Miss them But plan to replace them with Custom Versions. I admit that the Sigil is Atractive, but Still like the Smooth design of the Matrix more.
I like the more ergonomic designs more then the blocky Chunky. Have my Eyes Set on a Beggatti too.

I have almost paid off my long Awaited Full Size Matrix.
it's A Crusader Matrix with tri-tone DLC Blade.
so looking forward to it ; )
