Any great knife shops in miami?

title says it all, a certain big name retailer with a fish in there name isnt cutting it for me...
 
That's a good question. I've lived here for 10 years and haven't been able to find one, although I must admit, I haven't really looked very hard either.
 
Wow, Bladeart is about a mile from my shop. I never knew it was there. I'll have to check it out on my way to work one day.
 
I don't know about Miami specifically, but people have told me they like these shops in Florida:

Nick's Knives in Oldsmar Fleamarket, Oldsmar FL.

Razor Sharp Unlimited, New Port Richey, FL.
 
HJK, is BladeArt an actual retail store or a mail address? I'm visiting Miami, and would love to go to the store, but I can't seem to see if it's more than a mailing address for their website. Also hoping to hit Fort Lauderdale before we head back to winter....

While floriduh for the most part is very knife friendly. Miami ain't. I don't think you will find much in the city. Not far from me in umatilla fl way far north is a fine knife store called ruffs saddle shop or cowboy knives. Nice selection compared to the big box hunting type stores. Only a 6 hour drive or so.;)

hollowgrind is down there in miami.....he's got some nice stuff. Bought a few microtechs from him, good fellow..but i think he's online only and no store front. Could be wrong though.
 
Sorry not a storefront but more than happy to have you over. We can also bring whatever you want to see to wherever you are staying.
We don't have much of a brand selection but everything on our website is in stock and ready to go.

:thumbup: for Cowboy Knives (Ruff's). I've been goin' there since before he had a website. Great folks and an outstanding selection to look at. Use Google or Yahoo to map it, though, if you're goin' there. It's out in the country a bit.
