I'm quite sure the "Slim Trapper" is a fine pattern and the Case is an excellent knife.
However, it is not for me.
Negatives for me include it looks considerably shorter in height, and may not give as good of grip as a "regular" trapper.
I'm also very un-fond of single blade slipjoints. The biggest draw (to me) of a slipjoint is the versatility multiple blades provide.
It might just be me, but that clip point blade looks a bit flimsy or weak.
(It's a "Turkish Clip" or "California Clip", like you would find on a Toothpick pattern, correct? I know many like that style blade. However, I am not among their number.)
I can understand the desire to avoid having a knife "print" in your pocket, especially in a business environment. And, I understand the resulting draw of teeny tiny and "Slim"/"Thin" knives.
Personally, whether I'm wearing jeans, cargo pockets, or a suit on the rare occasions I go to church, I've never had a knife "print" in my pocket, unless I'm seated. (I do not wear baggy pants (ew), either. I look fat enough without those things as it is, thank you very much.)
Keep in mind I generally carry a 4 inch plus closed stockman in my RFP, along with a second or even third knife.
Due to a physical deformity of, and limited movement in my left wrist, my LFP (and LRP, for that matter) has been empty all of my "life".
This month I've had a 4 1/4 inch closed equal end moose in my pocket. I added a 4 1/4 inch closed stockman yesterday.
As long as I am standing, you cannot tell I have two or more knives in my RFP. (the sheath on my belt is always visible, of course ... at least when I don't have a coat or jacket on.)
