any thoughts on skyblade knives

my father-in-law had one at one time, but he did not like it, so he had me sell it. my standards are a little more strict than his, and i did not like it at all. i never want to knock a guys (or gals) work, but i agree that they are so-so

$200-$250.00 price range because they are handmade by one man.
They are a handful. I have a 4.25 inch 8.75 in O.L. Bobcat and it is the love of my knives.
The steel is ATS 34 rc-61 and they are sharp enough to shave the hair easily off your arm. I have cleaned 2 whitetails and a dinner rabbit not much I know but it is as sharp as the day it came.
It has a great heft and fills my large hand well. I wouldn't be afraid to have this on my hip in combat. It is rock hard, easy to cut, skin, and use as a steak knife.
I think they are worth more than he charges. and as far as the folders go the Eagle is a excellent choice, it will be my next handmade. But don't go shorter than a 2.75 inch blade, they tend to be a little tough opening due to the heavy steel employed by Todd Orr. He makes a real tough no b.s. knife.

I hope this eyefull helped.
Daddy
