He lives within an hour of me, I have seen his website, and a brochure, and was impressed with his knives. I tried to contact him via email a while back and never got a response. I would love to check out his shop, and his knives, either to buy one, or just to have a chat with him. I am knew to making knives, and any information I can get would be great. In the past I visited the shop of Ray Ennis, and he was very helpful. I even helped him with some work on his Entrek line of knives.( I cut out a bunch of handle scales for him.) I also bought one of his entrek knives, and one of his custom knives that is the highlight of my collection. I would love to meet another maker in my area. I just don't know if I should call him, being he didn't seem interested when I emailed him. I know some people who knew him years ago, and tell me he his a super nice guy, but now he is retired, and making his sole living on knives, so I don't want to waist his time. What should I do?
