Anybody like Buck Pursuit Pro ?

When you mention Buck: it's tough for most folk to NOT think of the 110/112 knives.
But they do make lot of other great knives.
I had a Paradigm auto that was a real beauty!👍

Or all love is with 110/112 exclusively ??
I like to use my 476 Diamondback once in a while. I admit I have not carried my 30? Stockman in a long time, but it is still around.

I have not read any reviews of the Pursuit line, but it is not really my cup of tea. I am sure it is a perfectly serviceable blade, nonetheless.

i have the folders and fixed blades...all the versions steel wise and handle colors...except for guthook models. only have one of those.

the folders i feel need a pocket clip. they are okay. bit of blade play up and down like most of the midlock folders Buck makes have. im not a big big fan of them...they are okay just nothing that great about them.

the fixed blades......the 656 large size is a great usefully all around fixed blade. carries smaller than it is and is a personal favorite.....

I like it. If I had to buy a Buck camping/hiking fixed blade, I would go for the Compadre over the Pursuit Pro tho. I love orange in a handle (just got a Native Chief in orange 10) but the Pursuit Pro handle isn't the most atheistically pleasing handle on the market. I like the micarta on the Compadre better too. One thing is for sure tho, the heat treat will be top notch and they offer a great warranty.

I don’t hear much about the Pursuit. Another one I don’t hear much about (and like better than the Pursuit) is the Large Selkirk.

Agreed. In Lasadors post on top 5 survival knives under $100. I had the large Selkirk in my top 5. Nice, thick micarta handle for my big paws. Nice sheath + fire steel combo for the money too.

It seems like a sturdy knife and I like that. And at $70 , it’s a steal.
