I live in Southside, and just stumbled across the website for this online. This will be my first time ever attending, but I am planning on going on Saturday. Will there be any of my fellow Bladeforums members there? Has anyone here been before? I am not sure what to expect, and since it is a 3 hour drive I guess I was hoping to get an idea of what to expect before I make the trip.

Always been too far from one but all the same I'm pretty boring, as I'm completely fine with window shopping on online retailers and in store

I'm not sure how many years I've been going to the show—at least 15 or more. I've never returned home empty-handed. I plan to go on Friday. I may or may not go back on Saturday. Last year, I went both days and Saturday was better for me. The only thing I bought on the first day was a Bridgeport BSA hatchet. Saturday I picked up several new old stock Schrades plus a couple nice custom knives at good prices. My brother went with me on both trips, and Friday was better for him. He did a lot of trading/selling and returned home from the first day with more cash than he left with, plus several knives. I don't think he bought anything the second day.

I've never been to a larger show, so I have nothing to compare it to. There will be vendors selling a variety of knives, from vintage collectibles to high-end customs with plenty of good users in the mix. I see a good bit of trading, and there are usually guys walking around selling knives.
