Specifically, a lack of communication and failure to ship out a product? I purchased a We Knife from them on Jan 31st. I receive a confirmation email that same day ... so far so good. After a week I checked the status on my account page. It said 'Processing'. Seemed odd, so I contacted their sales dept via email, as instructed. They claim to respond within 24 hrs. Heard nothing. Sent another email a few days later. Same thing, no response. Order status still says 'Processing' almost 3 weeks later. My CC was billed that day, even though nothing shipped. I disputed the charge and was 'temporarily credited' while it's under investigation. I've bought from them before through Amazon and never had an issue, so I was pretty surprised to say the least. I'm OK with shipping delays given the pandemic and all, but not having the courtesy for Sales to respond, well ... that's unacceptable IMO. Wasn't sure if something changed in the past month or so WRT their business? Times are tough all around, yes, but now's not the time for businesses to skimp on customer service.

OK thanks for the info! The thing that really made me mad was that I put off purchasing the same knife from a different vendor at an equally good sale price because I couldn't justify spending the money to buy 2 of the same knife. Now it's unavailable at the other vendor and I end up with nothing. Oh well, the lesson here I guess, to avoid disappointment, always buy more than one :-)

they are a drop shipper arent they?

there business address is far too small to hold any real inventory. they also seem to move locations a lot. now in Morton Grove, il.

try their phone number....

I finally received a response from their "sales person" yesterday. It said there was a 'quality issue' with the knife and they supposedly notified me, but I never received that email. No details about the 'quality issue' (If they are a drop-ship business, I suspect instead they were unable to obtain the knife), if it was delayed, canceled, etc. I emailed back but they never followed up. I may give them a call ... I'll probably just write them off as a bad experience though and spend my money elsewhere. Apparently business is so good they can afford to blow-off customers and lose sales. Must be nice!

I've purchased A Civivi Mckenna in damascus, and two separate orders for Flytanium titanium Delica backspacers (they seem to consistently be the cheapest for these) within the last year or so. All orders arrived with no issue.

In general, I've seen a fair amount of positive feedback regarding purchases from them, that's why I am surprised, and pretty disappointed, they decided to blow me off entirely. The knife wasn't exactly inexpensive :-) and I probably would have ended up spending more with them in the future as well. I've been purchasing/collecting knives for the past 30+ years now ... if this had happened early on, it may have made me think twice about pursuing that interest.
