I have certain names for people who take $200 knives and hack away at them with a dremel. :D

I don't name my knives... ;)

my belt sander is named "charlie mike".

my grinder is named "charlie mike".

my reciprocating saw is named "charlie mike".

my metal files are all named "charlie mike".

my band saw is also named "charlie mike".

"no touchies" and "big owwies" - what we called my knives & all things sharp when my son was a toddler; we still refer to my knives & other sharp tools by that name.

thx - cpr

Heck, some days I have trouble remembering my name. How would I remember names for all my knives?

I think the tradition is that "swords have names, knives have uses". I do have a khukuri that has probably earned a name by now...

I haven't nicknamed any knife yet, but if I ever get a knife with a wave I'll be sure to name it Charlie Mike.
