I seen a knife that looks really nice but not many reviews and just curious if anyone has one and how they like them. Also don't know much about the D2 steel. CFK Cutlery Company IPAK USA - 13" ELITE TRAIL BOSS - Custom Handmade D2 LARGE Bushcraft Hunting Skinning Camping Chopping Bolo Hunter Knife with Leather Sheath & Fire Starter Rod Set CFK134 Link removed, read the site rules.

Three things.
1) linking to a non-supporting vendor is not allowed.
2) that hande looks incredibly uncomfortable for chopping.
3) I would never trust a knife that is titled as a "Bushcraft Hunting Skinning Camping Chopping Bolo Hunter Knife"

Don't do it.

Ok my bad I didn't realize posting from amazon wasn't allowed. Now I know it won't happen again. Thanks for input and knowledge of rules.

I agree with NJBillK's assessment. There are much better knives from quality manufacturers in that price range. Becker and Ontario spring to mind.

Take a look at Ontario's RAT6 and RAT7, or for a bit more the Becker BK7.

I'm sure others with more fixed blade knowledge have good recommendations.

Oh and they will also have a shill sign up on here periodically to ask about their junk.
Is it just coincidence that T Timothy79 hasn't been back?

Odd way to phrase it I guess, considering I don't really believe that coincidences occur all that regularly, if at all.
