Anyone purchase though knifedeal.com

I see a knife I want on their site for cheaper than the regular sites I typically buy from. I want to know if anyone else has purchased though them; and make sure it's a legit website. Their site says they are out of California.

I don't know about this site as I have never purchased from there. But what I do know is that sometimes that $5-$10 you think you may be saving turns out to be a huge headache with backordered items, no communication, and drop shipping issues. I'd much rather go with a company that I've used before with good results. YMMV.

Understood. MSRP is $600; I would save $80 and get free shipping. So $90-$100 saved.
That's a of money dumped into a what seems to be legit site. I just want to be sure.

Edit: Looks like I'll have to spend the extra funds. Nothing comes up in BBB. And no forum member seems to have heard of them. They also don't have a store front. Smells a little fishy.

Knifeman, always think long and hard about spending tour hard earned money on an unknown site. You made a good call, better safe than sorry at any rate. If you can pay with a Visa or Mastercard then you would be covered in case of non delivery/communication breakdown/excessive wait times. I know about these things because it happened to me once. It sucked. They might be legit, but at this point it is really hard to tell.

a word of warning...don't trust their "stock checked every day" they list stuff they don't have. I suggest calling before ordering and verify they actually have what you are ordering.
