I've never owned our held one. I'm thinking about getting one of their Warrior knives though. I'd like to hear from anyone who has experience with Lone Wolf.

Thanks,
Shawn

I have one of their T-3's and it is one of my favorite knives. Fit and finish are excelent, Functionaly it is perfect, no wobble, centered blade, great lockup on the liner. everything is right on it.

Their products have a great reputation and are known to hold up well in real world use.

I've been buying knives for years and have quite a pile of them. For some reason, I overlooked Lone Wolf until this summer. I bought a NIB discontinued Harsey T2 Tactical with Micarta scales from a BladeForums member here on the Knife Exchange. I was really impressed, and at the same time mad that I had been missing out all these years. I immediately found and bought two more T2s. :)

My T2s have great CPM S30V blades, heavy duty build, beautiful fit and finish, smooth action and solid lock-up. They compare with any other folders I own.

I had a Lone Wolf Harsey T1 folder that the liner-lock would fail a light spine tap every time.

I sent it back to Lone Wolf twice....it still failed.
I later dismantled the knife and sold the blade.

Lone Wolf seem to have have some very nice pieces.

I was looking into the Lone Wolf Perfecto and Paul Executive for gentlemens folders.

The T3 is one of the best production folders ever.

Not crazy about their current models, though.

On par with BM. I've owned one of the scale release D/As and it was a good knife.

I own a Blackfoot that I love. It has excellent fit and finish for its price point, has one of the most solid liner locks I've encountered and the heat treat on the s30v seems to be awesome.

Never owned a Blackfoot... just burning up posts til my 10K :p

I own 5 t2s, 2 t3s, 4 t1s, 2 cheyennes, 2 blackfoots. I consider them better than my bms...

Fit and finish is usually excellent, sharpest blades I have gotten and they stay very sharp, and they feel great.

I have never done anything hard with any folder, so I have never stressed a lock.

I have a T2 Harsey and its one of my favorites. I can't figure out why Lone Wolf discontinued the Harsey line. I'd like to get a the smaller one, I think it was the T1?

I like some of the Lone Wolf Paul Poehlmann knives. I don't own one yet. I've been wanting to but there's always some hesitation when I plan to get one.

seems like there was QC issues and I "think" some disagreements with Harsey. Notice the new line are not Harsey made.

The t1 is a 3.2-3.3 inch blade in a package the same size as a mini grip, it is fantastic in the blade to size range. Very thick liners, very light. I absolutely love mine.

Judging by the ones I bought (i.e. Longhorn, Wolfgang, Blackfoot, Trailmate, Prankster and Defender), they are very good, especially the Paul models.

Lone Wolf is kinda unique for me. I bought a Paul Presto, sold it, and then bought one again. I also bought a Harsey D2 auto, sold it, and then bought one again. I almost never rebuy knives, but I did those.

The designs are good and somewhat unique and the finish is nice. They use good materials including wood. All of mine could be better mechanically. The Paul knives could have been smoother to open and could have locked more securely. The auto on the first D2 required a too-hard push of the plunger, and the last one has an off-center blade. Great knives, but the execution is better from some of the other firms.

I own both a Valmatic with the g-10 scales in s30v steel, and a Harsley d2 in the s30v steel. Both are extremely well made knives, with great detail given to fit and finish. They both came scary sharp out of the box, and I would rank them as good or better as some of the higher end benchmades in my collection. The only problem is I haven't yet purchased a T2 and T3 Harsley to go along with them.
