Are there any accessories that will fit where the toothpick is in my SAK Classic?

I checked... The pen will not fit the toothpick slot. The only thing I've ever seen replace the plastic toothpick was a titanium one :)

Dude! The toothpick is the biggest reason I carry my Vic Classic.

Howsoever, I know of no implements which would fit in the hole.

i too, like the toothpick least.

check out the victorinox signature, or manager.

those models are equilivent to the classic and rambler, but instead of the toothpick, theres a pen. which ive found very useful.
i have the manager on my keys and like it very much.

I used the toothpick on my SAK once in 20 years...so I understand you, even tho I never felt the need to change it.
The pen would probably be worth the change.
Otherwise...double tweezers? :)

I would never use the toothpick on my teeth for sanitary reasons. However, I have used it to manipulate polarity dipswitches on a microphone preamp that were too small for my fingers.

You could always carry another Tweezers or maybe modify a tweezers with a pointy or slanted tip that way you get twice the tweezers with different tips.

I never had a use for the toothpick. If I need one there's always a piece of wood I can whittle one out of.

I kept the toothpick in the knife, but only because I didn't like to have a hole in it. A classmate once borrowed the knife and used the toothpick to pull out the stitches from a healed wound. I told him to keep the toothpick, obviously.

I didn't feel the need to replace it, but fitting a pen in there would be a good idea. If I can find one in a local shop I'll see if I can mod the handle to accept it.

Thanks. Based on this discussion looks like those two are about the only thing interchangeable in that slot unless victorinox changed something in last three years :)

Used my pick just the other day., though admittedly rarely. When something gets stuck in my two, upper lft molars, it's very uncomfortable. I keep pastic disposable picks in the car, and wood at my desk. However, I ran out at my desk, and the car was a long way away....so, I through a bit of sanitzier on it, then went at the job. :D

I'm with Frank, the toothpick is a must have for me and it's why I won't carry anything else. Sorry, I'm no help.

You could make a tip with a similar shape for a pin and put that in there if you don't carry a full size SAK with a pin slot.

I once knew an old rancher who kept a spare horseshoe nail in place of the toothpick - said he had to file it down a bit.

I just use the knife instead of a toothpick to clean my teeth.

Just kidding. I use the toothpick enough to warrant keeping it. A titanium toothpick might be a good thing. Where can I get one?
