Are these sites reliable?

I’ve been looking at online knife shops and noticed two that I’ve never heard of…

Do you know if ‘Knives of the North’ and ‘Ragweed Forge’ are valid and reliable companies to order knives?

What online retailers do you most recommend or not?

I recommend the sites that don't charge tax. (Shipped to Texas)

Never heard of Knives of the North. But they have contact numbers and social media presence with about 240 follows. For which, in themselves, can be tracked.

Also consider BladeForums Paid Member Supporting Dealer List too.

And the Dealer Forum for sale posts too.

Ragweed Forge is legit, but I've not purchased from them personally.

My go to is DLT. I also use the following often ... Knives Ship Free, USA Made Knives, The Knife Connection, National Knives, GP Knives, and New Graham.

Did I mention my go to is DLT?

Ragnar, RIP, was a member here. His site was purchased by friends of the family after his death. I made a purchase from the site before Ragnar passed with no problems. Have not purchased anything from them since the ownership transfer. Ragnar pretty much only carried Scandinavian knives, and had one of the best selections on the web. I think the new owners have expanded the range.

With KOTN, I have no experience at all.

Knives of the North is good to go. I have bought several knives from them. One arrived with rust spots and they made it right. Totally happy with them.

My lastest.

I tried Ragweed for the first time. Quick shipping and an overall smooth transaction. I bought the 2023 and 2022 Edition Morakniv knives.
