Something I finished up in the shop tonight.
Mobile phone pics so not great.
Cody's brother Tyler spent some time last week and made us these trays to keep the knives in, helping us keep organized. He did a great job on them. The idea came from seeing what Koster uses for his knife racking system. He said it was cool for us to borrow the design.
Let's see what we have going on...
What you think of this beauty?
Worked on some brass handled firesteels. Something new I wanted to try out. Got mosaic tubes mounted in them as well. The one with the lanyard hole through the side has a copper tube insert, but its hard to see in the photos.
I have some more brass and copper additions to really dress these up coming in the mail soon. Proving to be a change of pace. Look to see these in some auctions soon.
Starting to hang some things around the shop,
Playing around with some more brass and copper. One has a walnut top.
Brown canvas micarta with red liners, finished to resemble a frost river pack.
Much nicer in person of course.
Today's, Cody shaped this one out, I helped with a little hand sanding.
Not finished yet, but almost. We got some awesome ideas for a rocking sheath. Perhaps some beaver pelt inlays and stuff.
Let's see what we got going on today,
Some finishing of the flats, never ice coffee out of reach,
Tyler getting it done,
Cody working on some convex,
Here is a few I posted to instagram today with the phone camera,
These from the DSLR,
Some of them need firesteels as well,
These are awesome photos! I've been a fan of your youtube channel for quite a while, and these knives are definitely a big inspiration for me in starting to make my own. Thanks for taking the time to post these, I appreciate it!
Very cool shop. Sick looking blades too.
Where are you all at? I am just east of Troy. Would you be up for a visit?
Wow! What a cool photos. I am so glad that I came across this thread. Adventure Sworn was just added to the short list of knives I intend to buy this year.
I see on your site that you are considering working with CPM 3V in the future. Any idea when you intend on starting that? I am cool with O1, but would also be interested in 3V is you had it available.
I have to ask what you shop was originally, and how old? What are those floors made of?
Your knives are amazing! Have you ever tried California coastal redwood burl or fiddleback?
Beautiful craftsmanship, how can I get one ....or two
Beautiful photos. The knives look outstanding.
Does anyone actually get a reply? I have been wanting to order one or two for myself and there are questions I need answered before placing my order. I emailed Adventure Sworn and received no reply for days already.
Wow, awesome shop, awesome craftsmanship and awesome blades! Thanks for letting us into your world for a bit!
