Overall length - 26 sm./10,2 in
Blade length - 13 sm./5,1 in
Blade thickness - 3.5 mm./1,4 in
Blade of AEB-L steel. Hand carved with depiction of fightings rams.
The handle is made of ironwood . Brass handcarved guard with inlaid plant ornaments.
Detailed sculptured ram's head on the pommel.
Handmade luxury walnut wood box with woodcarving and boxwood inlay in the set.The blade is functional, tempered in 60HRC in vacuum.

I suck at making knives.

These are stunning. How many hours do you have in a knife like that?

It took me 3 months to make this knife.
To think up the full composition - about 2 days
The steel cutting - about 4 days.
Carving the details took the rest of the time.
I make the carving on the steel with cobaltic chisels.
The ram's head is all hand made from one piece of brass.
The woodcarving box - 1 month.

So is the blade HTed and actually functional at least to the point that wouldn't be inhibited by the ornate portion of the blade? More a curious question I have often wondered about these art piece knives.
