Assist??

I like mine. I wish the PE part was near the handle rather than on the end. (hint, hint Sal). The whistle works ok but the glass breaker seems a little short but I assume it would do in a pinch. The best thing about it is the full sized handles. I am not a huge FRN fan but the Assist has some of the best shaped handles this side of the Bravo 1.

The Assist gives you a great grip. Not going to be letting that thing go anytime soon.

The blade is long enough to be very useful, though there are some times I miss the ability to poke a little hole in something. The front is completly blunt, nothing is getting cut that you don't want cut.

Hey, if this thing were made in, oh let's say, H1 it would be a superb water craft knife. Hint hint. :D

To sum it up, fantastic ergos with nice carry options, very usable with gloves on, awesome serrations, and great grip.

The whistle works great imo, and it's useful when you're going on a camp out and either forgot or didn't happen to bring a whistle with you.

I bought the assist to keep in my Fire Fighting Gear used a drill once and the glass breaker worked real well. It cuts seat belts like butter and with the cobra hood I had no problem opening it even with big thick gloves
