ATC is proud to include the custom work of Robert Humelbaugh, owner of Survival Sheath Systems, to its offerings in custom Tomahawk sheaths.

Our first offering is marked by the SSS single Vietnam Tomahawk Shoulder Carry System....custom made, one-at-a-time, and individually tested, this carry system is the finest shoulder carry system we have ever seen!!!! It features Dupont Cordura and Concealex, and, as ATC would only have it, made entirely in the United States.

Robert, of Blade-Tech fame, has started his own custom sheath company to accommodate Blade-Tech's individual sheath orders, as well as emphasize the development of carry "systems"...not just sheaths.

This "system" is just that....an add/delete based harness which can accommdate LBE's, LBV's, secondary knife carry to the Hawk, or single Hawk carry with the dry side secured to the pistol belt.

While the pics are a little GQ, I would like to report that the Rangers were totally hot on this system when it was presented to them at Fort Benning this week. It also allows for concealed carry of the Vietnam Tomahawk....a true first!

The ready position...while smiling, of course! :)

A side view.....here the handle is a bit pitched forward because I am standing on an incline...at rest, the handle is completely vertical.

The "System"...Concealex sheath, Cordura harness, comfort adjustments, integral, can include your favorite knife, and some are in stock.

You think he can make one for the Ranger Spike hawk???? do we order this through you or survival sheath systems?????

Can you make one for the Brend Spike Hawk? :D

Regards,

Ed

ps - please see your e-mail

Dayum! That is a sweet rig!

I wonder what my local LEO's would think about a guy carrying that around town. :D

rdnzl,

It's not a knife, it is not a gun and it is not concealed - what problems could they have? :D :D

Regards,

Ed

Andy, that is NIIIIICE! :)

Thanks for posting the pics. That's one thing that my field expedient sheath is not going to do: win in a quick draw contest! Let me see how my house sale goes, and I'll send and check and my well used Ranger Spike Hawk for a fitting (and maybe a Hoods' Woods logo burned into the handle!

>RadioRay ..._ ._

Ray....have Ron send me a JPEG of the Hood's Woods logo and I'll get a few handles made for your crew. Just drop me a note offline.

Andy,
I assume the knife sheath would go on the other side. This is most likely a real stupid question but I'm gonna ask it anyway.

This is a great design for taking the hawk with you. If somone bought both carry systems they could have a double barrel hawk chucker:D

I'll be lookin deep in the box for the ones that will accompany my Brend Hatchets!

;)

You need to get those photos in Maxim and place an AD baby!

YHALP

Over and......

Andy;
Cool, this looks even more wearable the the Blade-O-Leer was with the BM.

What do you think your stock of VN hawks and these shoulder rigs will be looking like towards the end of August?

Thanks, Eric.

I hope the kids are doing well. Andy is going to keep me pretty busy. Hopefully I'll see you soon.

Take Care,

Robert

This system has been kicking butt! Many folks have been ordering a sheath for their custom knife to ride on the opposite side of the Hawk. Just send Robert your custom blade, or, if its a factory knife, he may just have a template on hand. His address can be found at is www.survivalsheath.com
