Well, I set my digital camera on the lowest setting it has, 1.1MP. then I shrunk the pic to 100X75. But the damn pic is still 61kb and the max is 9.8kb!! Now what the hell do I do??

Next you compress it. If you don't know how to do that post the pic here as an attachment and one of the photoshoppers will compress it for you.

I did it in PhotoShop and ACDSee 8. I had to resize the pic to fit the requirements of BFC. I then opened it up in PS and added the beveled edges. I then saved it as a JPG. Next I needed to mkae the KB size compatible with BFC. I changed it to a Bitmap and then changed it back to a JPG which changed the KB size to comform with BFC's contraints. It's easier than it sounds.

Aggie, for a simple resizer go to Microsoft's windows download site, do a search for "resizer", then download that tiny program. After you download the program, and when you need to resize a picture, simply right click on the picture, chose the resize option and resize to your heart's content. You are on your own for beveled edges though. If you have an apple, well start by buying a real computer...

Simply resizing the pic is not enough. You can resize it to the correct size of 120x120 but if the KB's are over what is allowed on BFC it won't upload. You have to constrain the pic to keep the size and lower the KB's. I'm sure there are easier ways to do it but this is what works for me. The MS autosizer is geared towards those who need to shrink a pic to fit in email. It is not for those who add an artistic flair to their pics or need them to conform to a specific dimension and image size in KB's.

You can also use "save for web" with Adobe Photoshop, for quick and easy compression. :thumbup:

Well see, you lost me at artistic flair. I'm a knuckle dragging photo slut looking forward to using more of your photoshopped work in the future...with all the risk that entails.

I thought the resizer I was talking about reduces the kb of the photo as well as the overall size. I'll have to play with it when I get home to verify...
