Axe Handle Weight (just the handle)?

Can anyone with a scale tell me how much their axe handles weigh (and what type/length of handle they are weighing)? I frequently see ebay listings for axes where the seller knows the overall weight with a handle, but not the weight of the head. I understand that there is a good deal of variance on handle thickness and that older handles are thinner, but some ballpark figures would be helpful.

Just weighed a couple.

36" Tennessee Hickory straight haft - kinda thick - 675 grams

30" House Handle curved haft - rather slim - 520 grams.

Weighed a new 28 inch hickory haft (which could in fact be slimmed-down a little wee bit) at 460 grams or smidgen over 1 pound. Install of a 2-2 1/2 pound head all the way up to the shoulder would wind up sawing almost 2 inches off the total length which would be another 50-75 gram reduction.
