Here are a few pictures of the carry methods I use for my tomahawks, as a lot of you know, I take my axes out to work every day, and I’m always looking for ways on improving my carry method.

I’d like to see sum of yours.:o

I always learn new things from you guys. :D

I always have the best wishes and the best teachers on this forum; I will watch my back as always Robin.
Thank you for that.

I just gird up my loin cloth and slip it in my sash (:D sorry, could resist). I think sash's should come back in fashion, you could conceal a lot of stuff in there.

Got the idea of carrying the hawk on a sling form this picture i found on the net. Cool looking guy.

We have a lot to learn from our ancestors; i do wish i could pull of a Mohawk.

I pull my jacket back whit my left hand and grab the bungee, then pull it up and let it go. This now makes the hawk go free from the sheath, the head pivots out of the sheath cutting edge firs and spike last. As you’re tacking the hawk out whit your right hand you can do an upward strike it you get the chance.

Ed,

It looks to me the handle on Combat II is slimmer than that of Sayoc's.

How do you decide which to bring for the day?

Combat II for Breaching and Sayoc for CQC?

I'm seriously considering one of both...smaller Sayoc hawk's easily concealed but it's priced the same as the large one.

I would like to get more out of it. :D

Yes that’s it. I take the combat axe for heavy breeching and the sayoc on CQC type jobs. The sayoc baby hawk I have may be what you are looking for, I take out when I need something extra small and discreet. All three are actually very slim profiled.

This is how I carry the axe when I’m going to be the official door kicker.

Etwood,

If you could only choose (no pun intended) ONE axe for your use; survival or SHTF moment, Sayoc RnD or Combat II?

Mucha Gracias hombre.

Thanks Edwood, that is very informative. What is the speed like on a draw like that?
