I was wondering how you have modified your Benchmades and would deffinatly like pics (I will be posting some within the next couple of days) of your blades.
I for one have added glow powder mixed in two ton epoxy to the center of my axis bar (in the dimple) and at night it glows for a couple hours and has no ill effect on the knife that I can see.
I also attempted a "stonewashed" finish on my BM 6150 (auto mini rukus) and although it didnt quite turn out as planned I think I like the finish that it left on the blade. The blade was worn (BK coating no longer existed on the front 2/3 of the blade) and frankly looked like crap, after tumbling for hours on end it has a nice even finish. (steel BBs and actual stones.... okay it was gravel
)
I also tossed the handle scales in the tumbler for about an hour, perhaps two, and after taking them out and allowing them to dry they looked very nice and almost brand new (almost because I have managed to get metal filings embeded in the micarta)
Well thats all I have done to my knifes, Im looking forward to hear what you have done to yours
