My Kabar BK5 is a kitchen queen and has wood scales. If I held true to pattern, my Camillus is sporting micarta (I'll have to look). Guess I'll have to dig through the box (pelican case, actually) to see if I have a spare wearing the stock scales - pretty sure I sold them all, though.
