Does anyone have any experience with this pen? Ever since I lost my Schrade fountain pen, I've wanted another like it but no luck finding one. The Böker looks like it'll fit the bill, though.

No idea on that pen. But I work a physical blue collar job and I daily carry a fountain pen and use it signing log books all day. I've used pilot metropolitan and lamy safari, both decent but not the best writing. A waterman expert is a good pocket pen, all metal and cap snaps on tight. Off work I carry a lamy 2000. But nowadays at work I carry a twsbi eco. Them things write so much better than their price point, wet too. I have a fine nib and a broad and I prefer the broad. But I like a thick wet line. I now prefer to carry the pen I want based off how it writes than worrying about it breaking. Generally the last couple years I haven't demolished one.

I love the TWSBI, too. The Waterman Laureat is a good carry, similar to the Expert. My usual fountain for non indoor writing is a Pilot Varsity, especially as I've found a source for fine nibs on those. I have had two Lamy Safaris, one lost overseas and another floating around the house here somewhere but they just never wrote very well. I might try that Waterman Expert, though!
