Bailout Pommel Removal

I picked up a Bailout, knowing I would have to remove the pommel/glass breaker to actually like the knife. However, when I took the pommel out I realized that a standard factory standoff won't fit flush in that location due to a step on the standoff and no receiving cut in the back hole of the Bailout scale!
So what's everyone doing to get rid of the pommel without buying the overpriced titanium "pommel delete" back spacer?

I just cut off the part that stuck out and grooved the nubs for traction. Effective but ugly. I have thought of making a g10 replacement but it will be a PITA.

I was going to suggest something along those lines. Grind down the existing pommel and hit it with some aluminum black.

I purchased standoffs that fit to replace the pommel. Im pretty sure Applied weapons technology has standoffs that fit.

The pommel sits in a hole that will work with any standard bugout standoffs. Grab some and delete it.

All of my Bailouts get this treatment
