I have a Gen 3 Pikal from Ban Tang with a matching trainer. The Pikal is S35VN with canvas micarta handles. Trainer is cord wrapped aluminum. Both come with kydex sheaths for center line carry with tekloks.
It has been carried a little bit never sharpened and has probably never cut anything. Blade has some scratches from the sheath, they may buff out I haven’t tried.
