Bark river kalahari hunter

I am looking at purchasing a hunting knife. Looking at bark river kalahari vs kalahari drop point. Don't really see much difference between the two knives. Anybody have them so you can tell me.

If you were going to buy a ford, would you look on a toyota dealer's lot?

That subforum is very active... The rest of the forums... Not so much. There are tons of barkie fans here, but from my experience you will get a very quick response on a Bark River question where the company hosts its forum. My intent was not to badmouth BF. sorry if it was taken that way. Maybe I should have suggested it via a PM.
 
drop point looks like it has a little bit less belly, but other than that, they seem almost identical to me
 
Don't have one (yet). But if the intended purpose is for field dressing deer I would definitely buy the drop point version for ease in making the incision in the body cavity.
