Looking for a basic tool list needed for making/ hand stitching leather knife sheaths.

As a relatively new hobbits knife maker (forge method little of a year on my journey) I am looking for a minalmist approach for a list of tools/sources for making sheaths for my forged knives. I do not want to gift my knives to friends and family without a sheath

Any help is appreciated to get me in the right direction

BARE minimum?

Heavy needles for saddle-stitching.
Razor knife for cutting.
Fork for marking out your stitches.
Awl for punching your stitching holes.
Drinking glass for boning your edges.

Everything else is the materials. Leather, line (waxed cotton or synthetic sinew are what I've always used), dyes, oils, waxes.

Then you just keep collecting more tools as you go. Things get faster and easier.

My $0.02.

Aliexpress sells good enough toolt to get started without spending a lot

Thanks! I'm glad somebody asked this. I just decided to take a turn at this for a couple knives I'd like to carry around more.
