Hi everyone, after a hiatus from paying membership at the Forums for no particular reason other than a tunnel of work and the distractions of life and fatherhood... I'm back! And with a dagger I just finished.
This one has a blade of 13.5", with an overall length of 19". It is 5.25" wide at the guard.
The twisted/beaded/basket handle is made of 1018 steel and parkerized, as are the guard quillons. The quillon and handle finials are turned from silicon bronze.
The grip ferrules are made of 1080/15n20 w's damascus.
The blade features 4" hollow grinds and is fullered, made from a new pattern I call Turkish Puzzle- a reconstructed multibar technique from the brain and notebook of my apprentice Will Stelter. He's one to watch!
The dagger is a full takedown, with all parts including quillon finials being threaded.
Asking Price is $2150 shipped in the USA. I'll ship international if the difference is compensated!
