Good morning, all. I am looking for information on a knife that belonged to a family member. It is probably from the 1960s. It is a Bassett with a number 2779098. It has a fob and an Indian headin relief on the knife case. I am unable to submit photos at this time but will do so once I figure out how. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Be well

Maria

A small army will come along and explain the how and why of pictures and their importance. Or you can search for it on this site. Several options.

Good luck!

(Also, if you are trying to determine its monetary value, you need a 'Gold Membership')

(Also, there are a lot of nice folk here.)

Welcome to Bladeforums coffeeridge.

One of these.

2779098 is the patent number, approved in 1957 and issued to the W.E Bassett Company ("Trim" was a Basset line of products). I imagine they were available with a variety of leather case designs.
