I am thinking of buying one of the "do it yourself" 9" stiletto's off stm.to eg:
http://www.skm.to/pages/skm/pager/p/doit_5_85.html

I don't necessarily wan't to cut with the blade, just want a sharp tip but mainly to look very cool. I would like a kriss blade, is this an ok idea, or would bayonet or normal be better? I already have other bayonet and normal blades. thanks for your time. Also, if u get time can u have a look at the different types and let me know how u rate them?

thanks

If you don't plan on sharpening it then the kriss is just fine. Baynonet and kriss grinds are both difficult to sharpen, and cut poor in comparison to a flat grind. Personally I would recommend an 8" inch model as their better constructed.

don't think i can buy 8" because i need to buy the kit n put together myself and they only come in 4" or 9" on the site. i decided i'll get a kriss, just cause i'd like to have 1 kriss knife. thanks.
