Hey man,

I've noticed you have quite a few Bark River's. Must like them, right? :}

I'm mostly a gentleman's folder type guy and haven't gotten around to listing all the wonderful knives I have. I have a question for you though - I want one nice fixed blade. It needs to look nice with nice scales but I will use it, just like I do my expensive folders which is daily. Sometimes I carry a $400 knife, other times a $100 knife, just whatever strikes me that day. I have Spydercos, Wm Henrys, Fallknivens, Benchmades, Mcusta and more. My favorite one happens to be the first semi expensive one I bought decades ago - an AG Russell Benchmade and I can't remember the model#. Obviously you like the Bark Rivers, can you tell me why? My uses would be general - camping, hiking, yard work, whittling walking sticks and I was thinking about the bravo type. The 3 brands on my list are Bark River, Bernard and Fiddleback. I'm just curious what you like about them that makes you want to own so many of them and I'm not making light of anything at all. I really would like your opinion: pros, cons, uses, etc. Thanks if you are willing to give a fixed blade newbie some answers.

Say Heah Guys I just came out with a mix and match set. Usually I make my Sets with knivrs from the manufactors, But I just made my second set. I used a Recon Tanto and paired with the Seal Pup 5, then I added a Estwing Double Bit Hatchet and my Wicked Tough Saw and for a neck knife I added the BK-14. What do you guys think. Would you say that for Tactical Knives I could live or survive in the bush with those two, I know the Estwing Double Bit Hatchet and the BK-14 could be used in the bush because with scales it adds another dimension to the knife. Yeah, I think when my foot heals, I will be checking them out.
