I just got a glossy Bear /Grylls catalog in the mail today.

To hell with the outdoors stuff; I did not realize that he was a one man marketing empire. Everything from jackets to t-shirts, and a substantial women's line as well.

Not a knife to be seen, however.

Mears site markets a lot of stuff as well. A check around will show that most do. Lundin's site offers about the least, but it is still there. BG is not doing anything that is not done by others.

Actually, the Craghoppers line of outdoor clothing has been around for some time. They only are now getting noticed here in the States because of BG and his clothes under their label. I've bought both in and have been very happy with everything. Just look out for the sales, their regular prices aren't worth it to me.

Some of that gear looks great. I can't see buying something that says "Bear Grylls" on it, though. Especially the tops that have it on the chest like it's a name tape or something. That's gay as hell.

love the BG gear, especially the shirts...got multiples of the trek long sleeve model; it is as advertised...you got to watch the sizing; had to return stuff 3x before i figured out what fits right on me (the UK sizing is 1-2x smaller)

can someone please pass me the kool-aid? LOL

I can't blame him...my daddy always said "make hay while the sun shines''.
