Thanks, fist off for all your help on my last question.
I have a beaumont 2X72 non VFD Vert orientation only It sits on a 2'X2' aluminum baseplate That holds the motor and the grinder itself . The grinder sita on a 1/2 inch thick X 8x18 Iron base plate bolted to the aluminum plate . lots of realeatate for welds ,tapping bolts ect.
Does anyone see as problem with me simply rebuilding the entire baseplate, or at best making a bracket so I can simply turn the whole damm thing 90 degs and work horizontally. as when I'm using my smaller contact wheels or the even smaller fullering kit , I like to be able to look down on the blade and support at 90 deg to the wheel, anyone already go this route or am I going down a rabbit hole? I'm Just trying to avoid $2500.00 dollars plus on a dedicated new grinder.
