Hi,
I recieved my first Becker knife today. The tip is uneven grinded, a little concav on one side. Do you think it is still ok? Im worried that the tip-strength is reduced now.

By the way, the photos you posted don't show.

Also, welcome to the forum, glad to have you here.

welcome to the forum!
since we can't see the pictures, I'm going to say "it depends on how bad the grind is off".
most likely, it's nothing that will significantly affect strength or function -- and it may even sharpen out over time.

for pictures - you either need a paid membership to upload directly, or you need to store the photo on a hosting site then link to it.
I store my pictures on facebook, but most folks use an actual hosting site like Flickr.

I can see the photo now. Like I said, beat the dog snot out of it, haha.

Interesting - a little surprised that made it out their doors on cosmetics, but shouldn't be a functional issue.
spend a little extra time sharpening to even up the asymmetric cutting edge and you'll be golden.

If you send it back they will replace it, but to me itโ€™s a working knife and after the first sharpening (take a little more off that side) the thought of that wobble will be replaced with โ€œwow I love this knife!โ€.

Welcome to bf!

Honestly itโ€™s good to go unless you wanna safe queen it in which case Iโ€™m sure Kabar would be happy to exchange it..... there customer service is fantastic!!

Looks fine to me. Like others have said, it's perfectly fine for a working knife. And all will be fine after the first sharpening! Now let's see some pics of you using the knife!
