Thanks again for the handles Geof! I sandblasted them and sanded with a sanding block to fit completely flush.

Yes sir, they are! The sandblasting took all of the color back to raw micarta.

Now this thread made me perk up ... I finally just replaced my 16 (my nephew claimed my last one) ... I finally found a 17 recently ... my 5s are my favs but my 15s a close second ...

but the tweener size ... well I may not have as many as GeofS ... but I may have more (is that a bad sign when you realize you have no clue how many knives you actually have) ....ok don't answer that ...

but I will certainly try to gather everything and get some glamour shots this week if it's not raining so I have a good place to lay them out ...

that's a nice set of sharp pointy things ... I couldn't help but notice the two BK62s ... and the top one's handle scales so much darker ... I was just curious what you used on that set?

It’s been dyed maroon and polyurethaned.

It’s not perfect but I like it...
