Just completed my American version of a Sami puukko. Hickory handle, Ironwood spacers, cherry burl end cap, German silver with peened texture and 5/32"x 4.875"x.875" 1075 blade. Soon to come are some Tommi puukko I am working on.

Ive carried this "custom" BK14 with modded tweener scales for about 4 years. Ive done it all with this thing, included alot of stuff you probably shouldn't do with any blade.

Ive taken this to hell and back and it just hums along, begging for more. Just cleaned it back up and gave her a good shaving edge. Ready for more punishment.

(on a side note, if any bros have some brown tweener scales laying around collecting dust...id like to make another one of these for a "cleaner" EDC)

kydex sheath with TDI clip

Getting a bit of a recurve, with all the sharpening over the years. Still shaves.

My latest. Still not perfect but is my best yet. Completed as a gift for a friend, this is before etching my logo and putting an edge on it.

Purpleheart over white liners with brass hardware. Steel is 1095 at 57 Rockwell. 3/32" thick and full flat grind for slicey goodness!
