Hello all,
I’m selling my like-new Behring Made Fossil Walrus Ivory Sled Runner drop point knife. The fossil is from an Inuit sled runner and shows a lashing hole AND an apparent fire bowl.
The original description from Behring made is as follows:
This astounding Drop Point from Behring Made© is hand forged from 13/64" thick 5160 spring steel and it measures 5" from tip guard with a razor sharp hollow grind and our hammermark finish. The nickel silver guard is soldered in place above black fiber, aluminum, copper and musk ox boss spacers. The handle is a remarkable walrus ivory artifact that had been utilized as sled runner by Inuit tribes hundreds if not thousands of years ago. The overall length measures 9 3/4" and it comes in a classic belt pouch sheath.
