Hey knife nuts!

So I have knives from both Busse and Behring Made. I know Busse has its true followers that are ride or die. And I see a smaller following with Behring, I’m assuming because of price and availability. However!!!!! I love my Busse knives because they are BEASTTTT. But lately I have become more fond of my Behring Made Knives. I’m just wondering what those think about comparing the two that have actually used them. I have a lot of really nice Busses and can just imagine how many Behring Made knives I could buy. However I also think I may need my busse knives here with all the spy balloons and lab made sicknesses. Anyway let me know. What ppl say here may decide whether I off load some Busse knives or not. Thanks!!!!!

Both beautiful and functional, just in different ways. Think you’re going to chop concrete or pry a car door open with your Behrings? I think you get my point.

Well of course but I wouldnt do that with my Busse either. Just because it can doesn’t mean it is recommended. I’m talking real world use. I have other breaching tools

Honestly, it would never have occurred to me to compare Busse and Behring - as others have said, they are very different types of knives. Different manufacturing process, different aesthetics and to some degree made for different things. There is a place for both.

It also sounds like you already own both, so what say you? How have you found them to be different in use and/or purpose? Why not keep both, if you like them both, as you say?

I think James Behring makes beautiful, functional knives, and I don't plan to part with any of my Behrings. If anything, I'll probably order another one within the next year. But I don't know why my opinion would influence your choices.

Who says that anyone has to choose?
They are called "collections" for a reason...

Jim behring makes great knives. His combat line is very well made had a phalanx and a combat bowie. Every bit as good as busse.
"Behring Made" is actually Jim's son, James, who operates a separate business. But agreed that Jim's combat line would be more akin to Busse's offerings.

Great minds think alike. Been drooling over Behrings for years and just bought 2 to hang with my Busses.

What Behrings do you have?
