Right now I'm using the Lucky line clip on key clip for my keys... but I'm looking for something a bit more secure. They have a non-clip through-the-belt version, but it's wide open and slides around all of over the place.

Anyone have any good key clips that are secure, easily remove the keys, and stays in place on the belt?

I don’t have a suggestion other than the Lucky that slides around that you mentioned.

I’ve been using this one since approximately 1995 and I would be lost without it. This photo is from 2018 but I still use it today every time I wear pants.

If the sliding around ever bothered me, it was when I first got it and I can’t remember it.

There have been a few times when I tucked my keys into my pocket if I was walking by something that they might get tangled up in but I usually just let them dangle.

I used an Okay's Key Safe for several years, which is essentially the same as a Lucky. The satisfying "click" when the key ring goes on it is very reminiscent to the CRK glass break. They also make a couple of versions that are fastened to a leather sleeve that the belt slides through, but those look somewhat biker-ish to me. (Not that there's anything wrong with that.)

Right after moving on from the Okay's, I went to a brass trigger snap that I hang on a belt loop. Never looked back. It's pretty easy to operate one handed, has always seemed secure, and works on drawstrings for weekend wear.
