The Benchmade 755 MPR is discontinued now.

Anybody know what the final production of these little overbuilt monster's were ?

Well, it was a regular production knife for a few years so, I'd guess well above a couple thousand.

It's possible that with the street price of $212.50 for satin and $225.25 for black sales have just dropped way off.

They're great beefy little folders with titanium frame lock and M390 steel blade.

I got a couple used, mainly liked the steel and the look. The pocket clips make it difficult to justify carrying- it's just to bulky the way the clip is set up, either clip they offered is bad.

I may move forward with tapping an extra hole to carry tip up, using one of the existing frame holes and the stamped steel clip. It looks like it would ride better with the bulk of the knife setting deeper into the pocket. I've been carrying one without the pocket clip and it's OK.

I really like 755 . It's a small tank that I would carry more if wasn't for the pocket clip just doesn't work for me . I do EDC just because I like the blade shape and the way it feels in hand . They are expensive but you keep checking the exchange you can get a good deal on one . Ask Me :D . I did .

Probably. I got mine (black) for $165ish from a seller who didn't abide by MAP and got "fired" by BM for it. It's a great deal at $165, not so much for $50 more.

They are going for around $170 new at some places as of right now. It's a unique little knife.

When sold out, anybody think these will go up in value as a collector piece ?

I love M390 but don't like the MPR at all. It's like the Adamas' retarded little brother.

My 755 is FP #73 of 1000 and it has been a pleasure to carry and use hard for years.
Besides the lock rock, it has never failed on me and the pocket clip has also been a favorite of mine.
It gets more positive comments than some of my other more expensive knives.
I got mine for $200 back in the day and I'd do it again if I lost mine.
I doubt they will jump too much in price considering they made it for several years.

Most bizarre designs that gets discontinued go up in value for the few people who really like them.

People were selling Spyderco Lavas, the old SS handled one, for $250 and more. They were available for $75 from the factory when closing the last few out.

I just ordered a spare MPR. I really like the design, but don't usually carry it because I can get by with a thinner, lighter 3" knife. However, when I go out into the woods, I'm confident in the MPR as a stout backup to my fixed blade. Sometimes I just bring a light machete and the MPR, the 755 is a very capable carver - the thick hand filling handle is very comfortable in use.

I seriously doubt they'll ever be worth less than they're going for now, especially when the custom version is several times the $200 street price of the Benchmade version and has a long waiting list.

I just ordered one for $165 shipped...

Where do you get a folder knife with these material's M390, Titanum, for that price...

I think they will go up in value myself.. I just saw a used one sell on ebay for $147 a couple days ago.

They'll probably go up in value like the Ruckas brothers did.

Personally it was one of those knives that looked perfect on paper but was too stocky to be useful for my needs. Now if they're just bring back the dang mini-Ruckas I'd be happy.
